If your household is busy — kids running around, pets shedding everywhere, a lot of foot traffic in and out of the home — weekly cleaning keeps things from piling up. Furthermore, in Arizona's dry climate, dust settles fast. A weekly visit means we are always catching it before it has a chance to build up into something bigger.

I usually recommend weekly service for families with young children, multiple pets, or anyone managing allergies or asthma. The consistency genuinely makes a difference in air quality and overall comfort.

Busy professionals who do not have time during the week to keep up with chores also do well with weekly service. Additionally, anyone who frequently hosts guests appreciates knowing their home is always ready.

When bi-weekly cleaning makes the most sense

For a couple or single person without pets, or a lower-traffic household, bi-weekly cleaning often hits the sweet spot. The home does not get dirty quite as fast, so two weeks between visits is enough to keep things looking great without paying for more frequent service than you actually need.

Furthermore, bi-weekly is a great starting point for new clients who are not sure how often they will want service. You can always increase to weekly later if you find you want more frequent visits.

What about Arizona’s unique climate?

I want to be honest about something specific to The Valley. Our desert dust, hard water, and the fact that air conditioning runs almost year-round all mean that homes here get dirty faster than in most other states. Consequently, even households that might choose monthly cleaning elsewhere often do better with bi-weekly here in Arizona.

Here is the simplest way to think about it. Ask yourself these questions:

• What does my budget comfortably allow?

If you answered yes to several of the first four questions, weekly is likely the better fit. If your household is quieter and your budget is a bigger consideration, bi-weekly is a smart starting point.
